Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s basketball pulls out a 68-61 victory against Le Havre at Docks Ocèane in its second Eurocup game.

The teams traded baskets throughout much of the opening frame; but our Black and White managed to grab a 21-18 edge heading into the second, on a string of jumpers by Cevher Özer. The second quarter was also an up and down affair with the lead changing hands several times; nonetheless, Beşiktaş Cola Turka was able to enter the halftime intermission with a slim 32-30 advantage.
The Black and White turned the pressure up on its French host in the second half and hit back-to-back buckets to extend the lead to 51-43 at the end of third quarter. The French side, La Havre, tried desperately to get back into game in the fourth and final stanza; but Jimmy Baxter and Cevher Özer continued to pour it on their hosts from outside and carried Beşiktaş Cola Turka to a well-deserved 68-61 victory, its first group win in Eurocup after two games.
