Mizo Pecs: 71 - Beşiktaş Cola Turka: 52

Our visiting Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball fell, 71-52, to Hungarian side, Mizo Pecs, in its 7th EuroLeague Group A game.

The home team started hot and went on to build a 24-12 cushion by the end of the opening quarter. The second frame saw the Lady Black and White rally back behind a string of unanswered points by Hornbuckle and Shay Doron to narrow the deficit to 3 points, 27-24, midway through the quarter. But stubborn Mizo Pecs would not let Beşiktaş Cola Turka get closer than that and managed to extend the lead back to 7 at 37-30 before heading into locker at the half.
Both teams had trouble getting off decent shots for most of third quarter; nevertheless, the Hungarian squad did not look back and held a 52-39 advantage entering final quarter. Mizo Pecs stretched its lead even further in the fourth to cruise to a comfortable 71-52 victory.
In the other Group A games, while Nadezhda trounced Halcon Avenida 83-62, Bourges Basket hammered Wisla Can Pack 72-51.
