Visiting Ceyhan Belediyesi upset Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball, 81-78 at Akatlar Cola Turka Arena in a hotly contested league game.

Both teams exchanged baskets on both ends in the early going, but the visitors played better defense and built a 23-15 cushion by the end of the opening quarter. The Black and White rallied back in the second and scraped its way back into the game with consecutive buckets. Ceyhan Belediyesi clung to a narrow 35-32 lead, going to the dressing room at the half.
Beşiktaş Cola Turka made its presence felt in the third frame, and the duo of Hornbuckle and Doron hit back-to- back baskets to put the Black and White up, 60-54, entering the final quarter. The Black and White remained safely ahead until the closing stages of the fourth quarter; but Ceyhan Belediyesi refused to give up and managed to climbed back on top in the dying minutes behind Allen’s consecutive jumpers to pick up a precious 81-78 win over the league leaders.
