Our visiting Women’s Volleyball falls 3-2 to Galatasaray at Burhan Felek, TVF 50th Year Sports Hall on Aroma First Division Matchday-5.

The lady Black and White got off to an unusually slow start and ended up dropping the opening set, 25-14. The teams hung close throughout most of the second set, but thanks to a late surge, Galatasaray seized the set 25-23 and took a 2-0 commanding lead in the match.
Beşiktaş finally came alive in the third set and led 8-5 and 16-14 at the technical timeouts en route to a 25-23 set win that narrowed the deficit to 2-1. After leading 8-5 and 16-12 at the technical timeouts, the Black and White won the hotly-contested fourth set, 27-25, and leveled the score at 2-2.
The tie-break set was a real nail-biter for both teams, but the home team prevailed 18-16 in the end to escape with a hard-fought 3-2 victory.
