Our visiting Football Team dropped a tough 1-0 decision to Kayserispor at Atatürk Stadium on Day 9 of the Turkcell Super League.

The match was refereed by Selçuk Dereli and a group of vocal Beşiktaş fans cheered for the Black and White throughout the entire game.
The early minutes of the first half was mostly played in midfield with each side trying to gain the upper hand. While goalkeeper Rüştü produced some brilliant saves in the net to keep the home team at bay, Cisse squandered a golden chance to put the Black and White on top; as the first 45 minutes ended in a 0-0 tie.
Beşiktaş upped the pressure in the second half and came close to scoring on numerous occasions but was unable to find the net. In the 79th minute, Bobo and Serdar Özkan were brought on for Tello and Serdar Özkan to break the dead lock; but their attacks failed to materialize into anything. Then, Kayserispor surprisingly went ahead on a close-range goal by Turgay in the 85th minute. Black and White desperately searched for the equalizer during the remaining minutes, but Kayserispor withstood the late Beşiktaş onslaught to run out 1-0 victors.
