After Beşiktaş’s 3-0 convincing victory over Antalyaspor, our Technical Director Mustafa Denizli made these comments regarding the game:

‘‘Tonight’s match turned out to be a useful test for us. I am glad our fans kept pace with our second half performance and motivated us when we needed it. Now, we will leave this match behind and get ready for our league game against Kayserispor, starting right from tomorrow.

In coming weeks, we will focus on some of our crucial mistakes and try to correct them before they become permanent. Since anything may happen in these cup ties, we have to be up and ready at all times.

We sure played two different halfs tonight. My players had to put that extra effort in down the stretch to come away with this satisfying result. However, it was a tiring test for them, so they deserve a little rest before our next league game. Our next opponent, Kayserispor is a much more formidable side and we know that they will play to win. It will be an entertaining match for everybody.’’
