Beşiktaş:3 Antalyaspor:0

Our football team rout Antalyaspor 3-0 at BJK Inönü Stadium in their Fortis Turkish Cup Group A opener with second-half goals from Cisse (72), Holosko (75) and Tello (77).

The match was refereed by Özgüç Türkalp, and a vocal group of Beşiktaş fans cheered the Black and White on through the entire game.
Beşiktaş took control from the opening kick-off but were unable to get one past the visitors’ keeper. As a result, the first 45 minutes ended in a goalless draw.
Sensing that Beşiktaş needed additional scoring punch up front, our Technical Director, Mustafa Denizli brought on Tello and Cisse for Ali Tandoğan and Uğur İnceman at start of the second half. The Black and White kept attacking and finally found the net in the 72nd minute when Cisse dribbled past 3 Antalyaspor defense players and fired it into the net to put his club up 1-0. After the goal, the visitors’ defense appeared to be all at sea, emitting panic and indecision, as Holosko hammered home another goal three minutes later to make it 2-0 for Beşiktaş. The Black and White broke the game open in the 77th minute with Tello’s superb drive that sent the home crowd wild until the final whistle. After Tuna Üzümcü replaced Sivok 6 minutes from time, Beşiktaş slowed the game down and cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory to record their first Fortis Turkish Cup win.
