Kenan Öner, our General Secretary and Head of Executive Board, made an assessment of the cup draw:

“Some say we are placed in the most difficult group. But let’s not forget, all teams taking part in this tournament are formidable and there are no weak teams in this year’s Fortis Cup, regardless of which division they come from. Since we are already out of the European cups, we can simultaneously concentrate on Turkish Turkcell Super league and Fortis Cup. We also know that we owe a lot to our fans since last year. So we have no other alternative but to go all the way this season. And we are not going to stop until the final whistle is blown.
There is no need to describe Mustafa Denizli and speculate on his future performance. He already has established an effective dialogue with his players. We have great confidence in him. We are sure he will take us to the best place of league in May.”
