Our Football Team pick up a valuable 3-1 away win over Genclerbirliği in Day-7 of the Turkcell Super League with first-half goals from Tello (3), Sivok (11) and Nobre (13).

The game was refereed by Mustafa Kamil Abitoğlu and large Beşiktaş crowd cheered its favorite team on throughout the entire game.
In their first game under the new Technical Director Mustafa Denizli, the Black and White started strong and went ahead after only 3 minutes with Tello’s textbook goal that came on the back of a fast- paced Beşiktaş counter-attack. Sivok’s perfectly-timed header doubled the Black and White’s lead in the 11th minute. Two minutes later, Nobre added another with a superb header and it was 3-0 for the visitors at the end of the first half.
The home team Gençlerbirliği pushed hard in the second half to get back into the game and Kahe’s penalty kick reduced the deficit to 3-1 after 61 minutes. Mustafa Denizli brought on some fresh legs down the stretch and replaced Bobo, Tello and Cisse with Holosko, Ali Tandoğan and Uğur İnceman to keep possession in midfield. Beşiktaş searched for the 4th goal during the remaining minutes but could not find the net. After Ergün made it easier for the visitors in the 90th minute and left his side short-handed with his second yellow card, Beşiktaş sailed to a comfortable 3-1 victory.
