Thanks to a thrilling 3-2 victory over their Serbian hosts Tent Obrenovac, our Women’s volleyball reached the finals of the Balkans Cup as division leader.

After posting a 3-0 win in their opening game against Rudar Pljevlja, our Ladies in Black and White guaranteed a place in the finals, because their next opponent Unirea İasi from Romania had pulled out of competition in the last minute.  They took on the host team Tent Obrenovac in their final game and advanced to the 4-team finals of the Cup as undefeated leader from Division A with a 3-2 hard-fought victory.  
Despite dropping the first set 25-20, Beşiktaş took the second 25-19, only to see the home team regroup and claim the third set 25-22. But our Ladies would come back to tie the match at two sets apiece with a 25-22 win in the fourth set.  The Black and White won the tiebreak, 15-13, and exciting match 3-2 to advance to the finals in Bosnia Herzegovina to be held between September 27 and 28.
