Beşiktaş 3 - 0 Gaziantepspor

The Black and White cruised past Gaziantep, 3-0, at BJK Inönü Stadium in Day 4 of the Turkcell Super League to go atop the standings with 10 points. Beşiktaş’s goals were scored by Bobo (3), Serdar Özkan (53), and Nobre (87).

The match played under heavy rain was refereed by Mustafa Kamil Abitoğlu and our devoted fans, who filled the stands as usual, cheered for their favorite team to victory for the entire 90 minutes.
Beşiktaş made a blistering start into the game and their Brazilian international Bobo put them ahead after just three minutes with a superb right-footed drive. Gaziantep regrouped quickly and pushed forward in search of an equalizer but could not unlock the tight Black and White defense. It was 1-0 in favor of the home squad at the end of the first half.
Holosko replaced Tello at the start of the second half to give Beşiktaş more scoring punch up front.  After Antep’s Edourdo Pacheco received his second yellow card for unsportsmanly conduct in the 47th minute and reduced his club to 10 men, our boys in Black and White took complete control and began to apply extra pressure to extend their one goal advantage. The tactic paid off, as Serdar Özkan doubled Beşiktaş’s lead in the 53rd minute with a brilliant shot from close range. After Delgado entered the game for Serdar Kurtuluş in the 67th minute, Beşiktaş never looked back.  Bobo closed the scoring with two minutes left in regulation time to make it 3-0 for the Black and White. Batuhan Karadeniz’s late substitution for the man of the match, striker Nobre would not change the final score, as our Beşiktaş moved into first place with 10 points in 4 games.
