Our Women’s Juvenile Basketball Team grabbed the first place in the Unicup 2008 Tournament organized by Istanbul University.

In addition to Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Suadiye and Istanbul University also took part in the tournament which was being held second year in a row.  Despite being edged by Istanbul University, 60-59, in their opening game, the Black and Whites came back to defeat their traditional rival Fenerbahçe, 62-50, in their second. Our young ladies routed Suadiye 65-46 in their final game of the tournament to claim the first place in Unicup 2008. Our talented Seyma Kutun was selected as ‘‘The Most Valuable Player’’ of the tournament.
