Our boys in Black and White claimed a 2-0 shutout over the visiting Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk with goals by Nobre (1) and Ayhan Tuna Üzümcü (74) at BJK Inönü Stadium in an exhibition game played during the international break.  

The match was refereed by Özgür Yankaya and our fans filled the stands as usual to cheer their favorite team on entire 90 minutes.
Beşiktaş fielded a starting lineup comprised of:  Rüştü Reçber, Sivok, Tello, Nobre, Seric, Ali Tandoğan, Necip Uysal, Ekrem Dağ, Delgado, Cisse and Tuna Üzümcü against a formidable Ukrainian squad managed by our ex-Technical Director, Mircea Lucescu. 
The Black and Whites started all guns blazing and jumped out to a 1-0 early lead courtesy of Nobre, who headed home a superb cross from Delgado as early as the first minute of the game. Beşiktaş had a flurry of chances after the goal but could not find the net. When Fernandinho grabbed his second yellow in the 35th minute, Ukrainian side were reduced to 10 men on the pitch for the rest of the game. The shorthanded visitors looked dangerous on counter-attacks during the remainder of the half, but the Black and White stood firm in defense and went into locker room up, 1-0, at the break.   
Beşiktaş Technical Director Ertuğrul Sağlam made 3 substitutions at the start of the second half and brought on İbrahim Üzülmez, Bobo and İbrahim Toraman for Tello, Delgado and Seric.  
The Black and Whites continued their dominance in the second half and kept the visitors under constant pressure. Despite a number of close calls, Beşiktaş forwards could not score the insurance goal they needed in the early going.  Korcan Çelikay and Ali Kuçik replaced Cisse and Rüştü Reçber in the 61st minute. With 16 minutes to play, Beşiktaş got on the scoreboard again when Ayhan Tuna Tütüncü found the back of the Ukrainians’ net with a brilliant finish at the far post off a free-kick from right flank and made it 2-0 for the home side. Following the goal, young reserves Saim Çelik, Oğuz Ceylan and Ömer Sümer entered the game for Necip Uysal, Ali Tandoğan and Ekrem Dağ.
Since neither team managed to the change the course of the game during remaining minutes, the Black and White ran out 2-0 visitors against their visitors from up north.
