Our Football Team posts 2-0 shutout over visiting Konyaspor with second half goals from Delgado (50) and Holosko (75) in 2nd week of the Turkcell Super League.

The match was refereed by Selçuk Dereli and a full house Beşiktaş crowd cheered for the Black and Whites through the entire game.
Beşiktaş got off to a fine start and kept the visitors’ goal under pressure early on but could not convert their chances, as the first half ended in a goalless draw.
The Black and Whites pushed even harder in the second half and  pulled ahead on a 50th minute goal by Argentinean Delgado, who put in another eye-catching performance. When Bobo was brought down inside the box in the 73rd minute, referee Selçuk Dereli pointed to the penalty spot. But Konyaspor’s keeper Jefferson produced a brilliant save and denied Delgado his second goal of the game. Nevertheless, Holosko made it 2-0 for Beşiktaş two minutes later off Bobo’s cross. Visitor’s midfielder Cihan received his second yellow card in the 76th minute and was sent to early showers.
Since neither team managed to change the scoreboard during the remaining minutes, the Black and Whites walked away with a 2-0 victory to record their second win in as many games.
