Following Beşiktaş’s 4-0 victory over Siroki Brijeg our Technical Director Ertuğrul Sağlam made these comments regarding the game:

‘‘After our 2-1 win in the first leg, we looked a bit overconfident in the first half and let them control the game. 
But it was a completely different story in the second half, as our boys shook off their sluggish start with back-to-back goals and outplayed the Bosnians rest of the way. As a result of our positive second half performance, we ended up with a 4-0 victory.
Let’s not underestimate our opponent, because the lopsided score doesn’t truly reflect their level of game.  As far as I am concerned, they were a formidable squad and played as hard as they could out there that made the game exciting for both teams with lots chances at both ends. We are pleased to qualify for the next round.’’
