The Black and White faced Maccabi Haifa at Radkersburg- Thermen Arena on Wednesday and a second half goal by Batuhan Karadeniz earned them a 1-0 win over their Israeli opponents in their second preseason game in Austria.

Beşiktaş got off to a fast start and created too many early chances. Nobre was tripped inside the box in the 8th minute, but the ref waved away the penalty claim. Despite launching numerous attacks from the flanks, our boys in Black and White could not find the back of the net, as the first half ended in a goalless tie.

Maccabi Haifa began to push forward more frequently in the second half, but our boys in Black and White never took their foot off the gas pedal and emerged 1-0 victors in the end courtesy of a well-organized 76 minute Batuhan Karadeniz goal.
