Joining Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball Team after two years of absence, Müjde Yüksel announced that her whole family was diehard Beşiktaş fan and she was delighted to be back with her favorite team.

After spending two successful seasons with Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi, Müjde Yüksel has rejoined her favorite club. ‘‘My family has been pressuring me to return to Beşiktaş. They are all Beşiktaş fanatics. I have to admit Beşiktaş Women’s Basketball Team has changed a lot during recent years. They’ve been constantly aiming at the top spots. Besides, they have one of the best training facilities available in this league. All these factors had a positive impact on my decision. When I got offered a contract, I did not hesitate much,’’ said Müjde.
She also added that she was quite familiar with the discipline and game system practiced by Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Team’s Head Coach, Aziz Akkaya. ‘‘Since I am a player who yearns for unlimited success, I think we will attain major accomplishments here with our head coach. I am looking forward to working with him again.’’
She stressed that they could achieve their goals only if the fans came out and backed them game after game. According Müjde, no team could become a champion playing in front of empty stands.
