Our Football Team took on Steaua Bucharest in its last exhibition match in Austria and suffered a 1-0 loss to the Romanian side.

While the Black and White failed to take advantage of their early chances, Steaua Bucharest was awarded a penalty shot in the 36th minute when Beşiktaş’s new transfer Sivok brought down his man inside the box. Mirel converted the penalty and the Romanian team took a 1-0 lead before going into halftime.
Despite our Technical Director Ertuğrul Sağlam’s substitutions, Beşiktaş still could not find the back of the net in the second half, and ended up losing the game, 1-0.
