Our Youth and Under-23 Track& Field not only grabbed 3 first place finishes in the Turkish Championship held in Bursa, but our runner Sibel Ağan also clocked the best time of the season  in 100m category.  

Sibel Ağan ran 11.83 seconds in the 100m at Bursa Olympic Stadium and posted the best time of 2008. On the other hand,  Çağdaş Aslan recorded 5.87m in the high jump, Ayşegül Alnıaçık had a 55.66m hammer throw and Yağmur Gök ran 14.35 seconds in the 110m Hurdles to take the first  place in the championship. In the mean time, Yağmur Gök gave her club a second place finish in the 100m race.
Among our other Track& Field Team members, Nurdem Aksu jumped 12.13m in Women’s Triple jump, and Esra Güllü ran the 3000m in 10:40.52 for a third place finish.
By snatching 2 second and 2 fourth place finishes in the Turkish Championship held at Gümüşhane Aydın Doğan Sports Arena between June 24th and July 1st, our Junior Boxing Team qualified to participate in the next year’s tournament.
A total of 735 boxers took place in the championship and Beşiktaş Boxing Team registered these rankings:
1-  44.5 Kg. Vahdettin Soytürk (2nd)
2-  56 Kg. Furkan Acar (2nd)
3-  44.5 Kg. E. Cemil Altındağ (4th)
4-  34 Kg. Ersel Koçman (4th)
