In their third exhibition of the new season, the Black and White met the Bundesliga representative Bochum at Vörgl Stadium in Austria and posted a 3-2 come-from-behind victory with goals from Bobo, Nobre and Fahri.

Bochum got off to a fast start, taking a 1-0 lead as early as the 6th minute. As Beşiktaş struggled to get their offense going, the German side doubled their advantage with a 36th minute Epalle goal. But the Black and White pulled their act together and leveled the score with back-to-back goals by Bobo (38) and Nobre (39) before heading into locker room at the half.
While Beşiktaş made only lone substitution and brought on Ekrem Dağ for Ali Tandoğan to start the second half, Bochum changed all their players and fielded a completely new team. In this half, our boys in Black and White looked the better side and Fahri unleashed a perfect drive with 3 minutes to play to give Beşiktaş a 3-2 victory after his club trailed 2-0 at one time. The game was attended by the President Yıldırım Demirören.
