Following today’s last playoff game, our Table Tennis Team concluded 2007-2008 Super League in the 5th place and earned the right to represent Turkey in Europe next season.

After defeating Kocaeli Sarkuysan 5-1 and Tofaş 5-2 yesterday, the Black and White claimed a 5-1 win over Solvay today and qualified to play in Europe.    
Right after the victory, the Manager of our Table Tennis Branch, Sabahattin Sabrioğlu said, “We were the only team in the League that did not have any foreign player on its rooster. The other 4 teams competed with their foreign players and held an advantage over us. Also we had a good season in terms of infrastructure.”
In doubles Halil Hacı and Hüseyin Gazi won the top spot for Beşiktaş and became the new Turkish champions.
