Our football team trounced V. Manisaspor 5-1 with goals from Nobre (1), İbrahim Kaş (4,10), Ali Tandoğan (7) and Holosko (90+3). The Black and White finished regular season in the third place with 73 points and earned the right to play in the UEFA cup next season.

The match was refereed by Özgüç Türkalp and our team entered the pitch carrying a banner which read, “Visit Our New and Largest Store, www.kartalyuvasi.com.tr.”
Backed by a vocal home crowd, the Black and White exploded out of the gates and scored 4 goals in just over 10 minutes. Striker Nobre, who did not hesitate to take advantage of a blunder by the visitors’ goalkeeper, drew first blood with a clever header in the opening minute. İbrahim Kaş’s finish during a goal-line scrimmage put the Black and White two up 3 minutes later. Ali Tandoğan took a brilliant pass from Delgado in the 7th minute and slid the ball past Manisaspor’s goalkeeper into the visitors’ net to make it 3-0 for Beşiktaş. Before Manisaspor got over the shock, İbrahim Kaş headed in his second goal off Delgado’s cross from the right flank to complete the scoring in the first half.
Beşiktaş pushed hard in the second half for a fifth goal but failed to find the back of the net. Following the substitutions of Emir Gökçe and Aydın Karabulut for Tello and Serdar Özkan, the visitors pulled one back in the 83rd minute to trim the deficit to 4-1. After Mehmet Sedef replaced Delgado, Holosko sealed the game’s fate with an injury time goal, as the Black and White cruised to a 5-1 win.
With this win, Beşiktaş took sole possession of the third place in the standings and edged out Sivasspor to book a place in next year’s UEFA Cup tournament.
