Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball Team falls 77-66 to Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi at Mersin Edip Burhan Sports Hall in the second game of its semifinal playoffs. Since the series are now tied at 2-2, the two tams will face each other again on April 19th at Akatlar Cola Arena and the winner will get qualified for the quarter finals.  

After starting the series in a 1-1 tie, our Ladies in Black and White won the first game 71-64 and had a 2-1 edge coming into this game.
The host Mersin Büyükşehir made a better start into game and grabbed a 22-15 lead at the end of the opening quarter. The ladies in blue and white continued to outplay Beşiktaş Cola Turka in the second and went to the locker room holding a 42-35 advantage at the half.
They carried their fast-paced game into the second half and built a 56-45 cushion entering the fourth quarter. The Lady Black and White opened the final quarter with Zanze’s 3-pointer and pressed hard to get back into the game but never got closer to Mersin representatives, as the home team prevailed 77-66 to make it 2-2 in the series.
The final game of the quarter final series will take place at BJK Cola Turka Arena on April 19th and the winner will proceed to semi finals.
