Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s team registered an 84-69 road win over Istanbul University at Avcılar Campus in the 25th week of the TBBL.

After Istanbul University scored the opening basket, the teams traded baskets for much of the first quarter and kept the score close. But a last second jumper by Esra Erden put our Black and Whites ahead, 23-21, going into the second quarter.
Beşiktaş Cola Turka opened the second quarter with a lay up by Lovelace and despite a temporary Istanbul University lead, rallied behind Nilay Yiğit and Lovelace to carry a 45-40 edge into the locker room at the halftime intermission.
After Zanze hit a bucket to open the scoring in the third, the Black and Whites reeled of a string of unanswered points and extended the margin to 61-46 midway through the quarter. They then tightened up on defense and went on to close out the third quarter ahead, 69-53.
The home side tried desperately to get back into the game in the fourth, but Beşiktaş Cola Turka withstood every Istanbul University run and never looked back. Dominating their opponents down the stretch, the Black and Whites put together a late run to walk away with an 84-69 road victory.
