After Beşiktaş’s lopsided 108-89 victory over Banvit, the Head Coach of Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team, Mr. Ergin Ataman and our experienced player Drobnjak made the following comments regarding the game and Beşiktaş’s upcoming ULEP Cup tie against Red Star.

Ergin Ataman: “We played extremely well in the first half and built a sizable lead.  Due to our ULEP Cup game on Tuesday, we were planning lower our tempo in the second half. But apparently, we relaxed too soon. Nonetheless, we managed to regroup and got back into the game quickly. We have 6 games left in the League, and we have to win each one of them remain atop until the end of the regular season. Now, we are looking forward to our game against Red Star on Tuesday. I hope all our fans will come out and support us in that game.”
Drobjnak: “I am trying to improve my performance every time I step on that court. I was given more playing time than usual today, and I believe I didn’t disappoint my coach out there. We are ready for our ULEP Cup game against Red Star on Tuesday. I hope our fans will fill the stands just as they did in our previous games against Efes Pilsen and Galatasaray.”
 
Our Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team will host Serbian Red Star on Tuesday, March 18 at 19:30. Since the teams played into an 80-80 tie in the first leg of ULEP Cup Round 3, the winner of this game will advance to the next round of the tournament.
