Our technical Director Ertuğrul Sağlam made these comments after our 2-1 road victory over Denizlispor:

“After moving ahead 2-0, we could have scored more goals in the first half but couldn’t make that finishing touch.
In the second half, we naturally played more defensively to protect our lead because this was a must-win game for us. When we were reduced to 10 men on the pitch, our opponent gained the upper hand. As a result, they ended up scoring during a scrimmage inside our own box. Nevertheless, I am glad we prevailed in the end because this was a must-win game for us to stay close to our rivals at the top. We cannot afford to give away any points at this stage.   
It is also difficult to accept the red car Ali Tandoğan received. A professional player has to keep his composure during those situations. We do not want to lose any player down the stretch, so each player has to be more careful.
From this week onward, every point will count until the end of the final league game. We are happy to close this week without any loss.”
