During 2007 General Shareholders Meeting, Our President, Yıldırım Demirören revealed Beşiktaş’s new stadium and other projects for the upcoming period. Here are our superb projects:

“In order to modernize our Inönü Stadium, we have reached an agreement with one of the leading firms of the world. This renowned firm had renovated the famous Wembley, Arsenal Emirates and Benfica stadiums. In addition to sports, our new stadium will also stage various other cultural events. Our aim is to keep our stadium open for at least 200 days a year. This stadium, which we believe will be one of the most advanced stadiums in Europe, will be completely covered. With this opportunity, I would like to thank to our Sports Minister, Murat Başeskioğlu and the President of Turkish Football Federation, Mr. Hasan Doğan for their ongoing support.” Yıldırım Erdoğan said.
“IT WILL BE A SOURCE OF PRIDE FOR ISTANBUL AND TURKEY”
Underscoring that this new stadium and cultural center will be source of pride for Istanbul and Turkey, Mr.Yıldırım Demirören continued: 
“Once we get the required permissions, we’ll launch the project as early as May and complete it within 18 months. Our new stadium will have a seating capacity of 42 thousand. It will feature an 18 thousand - seat upper stand, 18 thousand- seat lower stand and 6 thousand box seats. When we were designing this project, we paid utmost attention to keep the historical fabric intact. The complex will also provide a new 2500 space parking lot, and a conference & theater center and a tradeshow ground for 5 thousand people.”
ZEYTİNBURNU AND KASIMPAŞA STADIUMS
According to Yıldırım Demirören, Beşiktaş would play its League games in Zeytinburnu and Kasımpaşa Stadiums and European games in Atatürk Olympic Stadium during the period of construction.
Mr. Demriören disclosed the total cost of the new stadium as approximately Euro 80 million and added: 
“At present, our Inönü Stadium offer services for only 40 days a year, but once it is covered, it will be in business for 200 days. This means we will be able to increase our yearly earnings to Euro 40 million. This is not my own project. This is Beşiktaş’s project. It will also be one of the most important projects in Turkey. Therefore, regardless of what others do or say, it must be supported by all. I am confident it will be a giant step forward for sports lovers in this country.
OTHER PROJECTS
Yıldırım Demirören went on to explain his plans for establishing the first private sports academy in association with Bahçeşehir University, one of the leading education institutions in Turkey. “New talents trained in this academy will help carry Beşiktaş’s principles and ethics into the future. With this academy, our club is breaking into another new ground. I hope it will lead to the establishment of Beşiktaş University in coming years.”
Our President Yıldırım Demirören made these comments regarding to present Akatlar, BJK Plaza and Nevzat Demir Facilities:
“Akatlar Sports Complex that was launched by Serdar Bilgili and completed in our period of time is a source of pride for all of us. The Sporium located inside Akatlar Sports Complex is definitely the largest of its kind operating in Turkey. Our BJK Plaza, which was built during the period of our Honorary President Süleyman Seba, provides a real source of income for our Club. On the other hand, BJK Nevzat Demir Facilities are currently rated among the top sports facilities in Europe. I would like thank to those people who made these facilities available to us without expecting anything in return.”
FULYA ŞAN ÖKTEN SOCIAL FACILITIES
Yıldırım Demirören also informed the board members about ongoing Fulya Project, “According to an agreement we reached with the contracting firm Aşcıoğlu, the social facilities of the project will be in full service within a year.     It was an urgent need. And I want to thank to those who has taken part in this enviable project. When completed, this project will not only be a first in Turkey, but it will increase our earnings by Euro 13-14 million each year. The project, which is expected to be completed in September, will definitely be a significant asset to our club.”

Our President Yıldırım Demirören concluded his speech by saying:
“All these projects will make our club more powerful and great. Of course some of our rivals will be jealous of all these new developments. Let them be so. No one will be able to hinder our efforts. With your support, we are going to achieve our goals one by one. I am sure we will come out of this assembly our heads up”.
BEŞİKTAŞ MANAGEMENT EXONERATED
In 2007 General Shareholders Meeting, the Beşiktaş Management was exonerated by majority of votes.
At the end of the meeting held in Lütfi Kırdar International Convention & Exhibition Center, the exoneration covering the period between 01.01.2007 and 31.12.2007 was tabled. 
Our present management and auditing commission were exonerated by majority of votes.
In addition, the budget for 2008 was also approved.
BUDGET 2008 ANNOUNCED: 150 MILLION
The budget for 2008 was announced as YTL 150 million. The budget of our Foundation, which is set at YTL 29 million and 605 thousand, has increased to YTL 150 million with the addition of Beşiktaş Futbol Yatırımları Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ's 2008 budget.
