Our Technical Director, Ertuğrul Sağlam made these remarks following our game against Rizespor in the first leg of Fortis Turkish Cup quarter finals:

“We wasted a flurry of chances tonight. They had only two serious chances and capitalized on one of them. The goals of the recent weeks have been results of our own mistakes. The defensive woes continue to plague our team. On the other hand, we often create a lot of scoring positions up front, but we are unable to finish them off at the same rate. If you can’t score up front and give away easy goals, you are forced to lose your game discipline.  We must find a way to overcome these difficulties. This was the first game and I don’t think tonight’s result will hinder our performance in the second leg.”
