Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball Team grabbed a 65-62 home victory over its traditional rival Galatasaray at BJK Akatlar Cola Turka Arena in the 14th week of the TBBL.

Both teams fought hard in the early going but the Lady Black and Whites managed to take a slim18-14 edge after the first 10 minutes of action. Teams traded baskets throughout the second quarter and Beşiktaş Cola Turka went into the locker room trailing 30-27.
The yellow and red team continued to outshoot its hosts in the second half and carried a 41-35 lead into the final quarter. Then, the hotly contested fourth quarter ended in a 56-56 tie and the game went into overtime.   
However, the momentum swung towards the Black and Whites in overtime as they captured a 65-62 derby win over their traditional rivals thanks to Nilay’s late scores.
The top scorer for Beşiktaş Cola Turka was Şaziye with 17 points followed by Zanze who chipped in 14. Nilay (11), Lovelace (8), Hayden (8) and Dilek (7) also contributed to the home team’s offensive effort.
