Our Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketbal Team suffered an 82-81 loss to Elitzur Ramla in the FIBA European Cup second qualifying round 2nd leg and got eliminated from the competition.

The two teams matched each other basket for basket through the opening quarter and entered the second quarter in a 20-20 tie. But the visitors took control of the game and the Lady Black and Whites trailed 46-41 at halftime. Beşiktaş Cola Turka stayed within striking distance nearly to the end of the third, but Elitzur Ramla was still ahead, 66-62, after three quarters of play. Despite a valiant effort by the Beşiktaş Cola Turka in the hotly- contested fourth, the visitors prevailed with a narrow 82-81 win. Since our Lady Black and Whites lost the first leg 82-69 as well, they were knocked out of the cup.
Vanessa Hayden finished with 27 points followed by Stacey Lovelace who poured in 21. Dilek Ünüvar (16), Korana Zanze (15) and Nazlı Güler (2) also scored for Beşiktaş Cola Turka.
