Our visiting Besiktas Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team downed Portuguese Ovarense Aerosoles 94-80 in its 9th ULEB Cup Group B game and remained undefeated at the top of its group with a perfect record.

The teams traded baskets throughout much of the opening quarter but our team managed to take a 25-21 lead at the end. The game continued in tight fashion in the second quarter until Beşiktaş Cola Turka put together a late spurt to pull ahead, 49-44, going into the locker room at the half. 
The Black and Whites made their presence felt in the third with high-percentage shots behind the arch and prevented their hosts from finding any offensive rhythm to carry a 72-65 advantage into the final period of play. After Nicevic hit a jumper to open the fourth quarter, Beşiktaş Cola Turka slowly pulled away from its host en route to a comfortable 94-80 victory.   With this win, our team made it 9 in row and remained at the top of its group as the only undefeated team in ULEB Cup.
For Black and Whites Kaya Peker finished with a game-high 25 points. Shumpert (15), Dalmau (14), Nicevic (14), Apodaca (11), Erkan Veyseloglu (10), Cevher Özer (3) and Mehmet Yagmur (2) also contributed to the offensive effort of the visitors.
