Following our victory against Konyaspor, our players Ali Tandoğan, İbrahim Toraman and Baki Mercimek made these comments regarding the game:

Ali Tandoğan: “I think we played a solid game throughout the 90 minutes. They had a single chance in the entire game and scored that position. We displayed a much better performance and created more chances. If we had converted them, we could have won by a bigger margin. Even I got a clear chance and should’ve scored easily. If we ever lost this game I would be real upset for wasting that opportunity. In my yellow card position, the goalkeeper’s hand struck my foot. Although I don’t know how the others will assess that position, for me it was a penalty kick by 50 percent.”
İbrahim Toraman: “We played in extremely harsh conditions. The pitch was icy and we spent extra effort to control the ball. I got a fine cross during my scoring position. I faked my opponent and headed the ball in. But I was more delighted when we scored in injury time. It is nice to open the second half the season with a win under these difficult conditions. We built a friendly environment in the team. Everybody respects and loves each other. Regardless of what the others say from outside, we are all united and have become a real team. We only think of finishing at top this season, and I am sure we have the quality to achieve this goal.”
Baki Mercimek: “I am glad that we won the game we deserved. We made a good start into the second half of the season with these 3 points. I hope we keep on winning until the end.”
