Our Football Team grabbed a valuable 2-1 away win over Konyaspor in its opening game of the Turkcell Super League second half with goals from İbrahim Toraman (49’) and Nobre (90+3’).

The game took place at Konya Atatürk Stadium and refereed by Halis Özkahya. A vocal Beşiktaş crowd cheered for their team throughout 90 minutes.
Black and Whites attacked from the opening whistle and tested their opponent’s goalkeeper with long range shots. But ironically it was the home team who drew first blood. Sedat gave
Konyaspor a 1-0 lead in 14th minute. Despite a flurry of chances triggered by Ali Tandoğan from the right wing, Beşiktaş could not find the net and went into the locker room trailing by a goal at the half.  
Beşiktaş pushed hard in the early going of the second half and evened the score at 1-1 with İbrahim Toraman’s header off Tello’s corner-kick in the 49th minute. From that moment on, teams mounted numerous dangerous attacks for the lead but were unable to convert their chances until Nobre stepped up and fired an 93rd minute bullet to put our Black and Whites ahead, 2-1, for good.
