Beşiktaş:3 - Ankaraspor:1

Our Football Team downed Ankaraspor 3-1 in its 3rd Fortis Turkish Cup group game with goals from Tello and Holosko.

While our new transfer Holosko netted his first goal for Beşiktaş, Black and Whites remained at the top of their group with 6 points.
Due to Football Federation’s penalty, the game was played in front of the empty stands of BJK İnönü Stadium and refereed by Hakan Sivriselvi.
The Black and Whites took control from the start and jumped out to an early 1-0 lead with a 5th minute goal by Tello. In the 34th minute, Tello took the center stage once again and made it 2-0 for Beşiktaş to close out the first half.
Visiting Ankaraspor came on strong in the second half and put pressure on our defense to get back into the game. But Beşiktaş was not fazed as Filip Holosko took a great pass from Bobo and stretched our lead to 3-0 in the 71st minute of the game with his first ever goal for Black and Whites. When Erhan was brought down inside the box, the referee awarded a penalty kick to Ankaraspor and Necati Ateş converted the shot to reduce the deficit to 3-1 in the 75th minute. Since neither team managed to change the scoreboard during the remaining minutes, our Beşiktaş ran away from its visitors with a 3-1 victory.
With this valuable win Beşiktaş remained at the top of its Fortis Turkish Cup Group with 6 points.
