Following Beşiktaş’s convincing 4-0 win against B.B. Diyarbakır DİSKİ, our Technical Director, Ertuğrul Sağlam made these comments regarding the match:

“We had discussed the consequences of not taking these types of games seriously with our players coming into the game. And our lack of concentration showed its face during the first half of the game. But we managed to regroup in the second half and scored our goals. Our opponent put up a good fight throughout 90 minutes. Due to the poor condition of pitch we didn’t look too effective out there. We are also going through an intensive training period. All these affected our overall performance today. Nevertheless, we got what we wanted. We could’ve scored more goals, but this margin will be an asset for our goal average which is a deciding factor in Cup games. We are also pleased to see our new players perform well on the pitch.”
