Diyarbakır DİSKİ:0 Beşiktaş:4

Our Football Team ran out 4-0 winners away to Büyükşehir Belediyesi Diyarbakır DİSKİ at Diyarbakır Atatürk Stadium in its 2nd Fortis Turkish Cup Group A match.  While Cisse (17th min.), Nobre (52nd min.), Higuain (72nd min.) and Aydın Karabulut (85th min) all scored for Beşiktaş, our new transfer Holosko played his first official game under the Black and White jersey.

In memory of those who lost their lives in a treacherous terrorist attack that took place the previous day, our team, wearing black jersey, stepped on the field with a ‘‘We Share the Pain of Diyarbakır Citizens’’ written banner. A one-minute pre-game silence was also observed in memory of Gündüz Tekin Onay who passed away yesterday.
Beşiktaş started brightly and created serious chances with Nobre and Batuhan early on. Following consecutive attacks that smothered DİSKİ defense, Cisse put Black and Whites ahead in the 17th minute with a hard drive taken from outside the box. After Nobre’s brilliant header had come off the post, Beşiktaş went to the locker room holding a 1-0 lead at the half.
At start of the second half, Black and Whites brought their new transfer, Holosko into the game for Batuhan Karadeniz. A 52nd-minute Nobre goal off Holosko cross made it 2-0 for the visitors. Higuain entered the game for Tello in the 66th minute and scored Beşiktaş’s 3rd goal 6 minutes later. Following young Ali Kucik’s replacement of Captain İbrahim Üzülmez, Aydın Karabulut finished the scoring with 5 minutes remaining in the game to give his team a convincing 4-0 victory and its first 3 points in the group stage after two games.
