Our Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Team cruised to an easy 87-50 victory over Istanbul University at BJK Cola Turka Arena in the 9th week of the TBBL.

Dominating the game from start to finish, our Lady Black and Whites built a commanding 26-15 lead at the end of the opening quarter. Spurred by strong performances from Stacey Lovelace and Vanessa Hayden, Beşiktaş Cola Turka took control at both ends and headed to the locker room up, 48-27, at the half.
Lady Black and Whites carried their momentum into the second half and scored 22 points against their opponents’ 13 to extend their lead to an insurmountable 30 points at 70-40 going into the final quarter of play. They added another 17 points in the fourth quarter to run away from their visitors with a lopsided 87-50 victory.
The top scorer for Beşiktaş Cola Turka was Vanessa Hayden with 18 points while Nazlı Güler and Ayşe Dilek Ünüvar poured in 10 points each. Esra Erden (9), Nilay Yiğit (8), Seda Erdoğan (6), Jelana Spiriç (5) and Korana Zanze (4) also contributed to the offensive effort of the victors.
