In its 7th ULEP Cup group B game, Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team downed Köln 99’ers 73-62 on the road and remained undefeated at the top of its group.

Having won the first encounter 79-60 in İstanbul, Black and Whites made a fine start into the game at Gew Energy Dome Basketball Arena and closed out the opening quarter with a 20-17 lead. In a hotly contested second quarter, both teams managed to score 14 points each, and Beşiktaş went to the locker room leading 34-31 at the half.
Playing solid defense, Black and White team came on strong in the third and looked good inside and out, as they stretched their lead to 14 points at 51-37 with 4 minutes remaining in the quarter. Backed by full-court pressure, Beşiktaş Cola Turka built a 57-45 cushion after three quarters of play and never looked back.
The host team opened the final quarter with a jumper by Idbihi, but Nicevic quickly responded to keep the Germans from getting too close. Then Black and Whites dominated the rest of the way and claimed an easy 73-62 victory to stay undefeated at the top of its group.
Shumpert, Apodaca and Nicevic finished the game with 12 points while Cevher (10), Kaya Peker (9), Dalmau (8), Sinan (6) and Mehmet Yağmur (4) also scored for Beşiktaş Cola Turka.
