Following Beşiktaş’s 3-1 victory against Ankaragücü, our Technical Director, Ertuğrul Sağlam made these remarks regarding the game:

“We haven’t had an easy victory all season long until this one. Since we have never had a win with a two goal advantage before, this victory means a lot to us.

We managed to impose our tempo in the first half and played positive football. We knew we would get a little tired in the second half just like we did in our games against Bursaspor and Porto. Our opponent tired to put pressure on us in the second half, but we successfully withstood their attacks and prevailed in the end. My players fought hard until the final whistle. I must congratulate all of them.”
