Our Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Team claimed a 99-92 road win over Antalya Büyükşehir Belediyesi at Antalya Atatürk Sports Saloon in the 11th week of the Beko Basketball League.

After starting off hot, the visiting Black and Whites went on to build a 27-15 cushion at the end of the opening quarter. Despite getting into an early foul trouble, Beşiktaş Cola Turka maintained its advantage through second to hold a 50-42 lead before heading to its locker room at the half.

In the early going of the hard-fought third quarter, the visitors held off a furious rally by the home team to crawl back into the game and protected their margin. But Antalya Belediyesi still managed to pull within 3 at 74-71 after three quarters of play.

Beşiktaş Cola Turka opened the nail-biting fourth with Nicevic’s consecutive lay-ups only to see their lead dwindle to one at 83-82 midway through the quarter. Nevertheless, a late run sparked by hot-shooting Nicevic enabled Black and Whites to escape from their hosts. Mehmet Yağmur and Shumpert both hit a series of clutch baskets down the stretch to help visitors increase their lead as Beşiktaş Cola Turka pulled away with a 99-92 victory to post its 8th win in the league.

For Black and Whites, Shumpert finished with a game-high 31 points followed by Kaya Peker who added 21. Nicevic (15), Dalmau (15), Apodaca (7), Mehmet Yağmur (6), Erkan Veyseloğlu (2) and Sinan Güler (2) also contributed to visitor’s offensive effort.
