After the final whistle of our Champions League match with Porto, Delgado and Rüştü Reçber made these comments:

Delgado: “We could not manage to play as the controlling side; but we also didn’t allow them to dominate us for most of the match. Everything was okay until the first goal and the way of the match started to change after that moment.”
Rüştü Reçber: “All the team expected an offside decision for that goal. I paused for a moment as it was offside but they later told me that it wasn’t. In some aspects we were good but there were things that we failed. Tonight we were here for a triumph but could not show the performance for it. We’re sorry for this result as we desired for a win to advance to the next round for the first time in Beşiktaş history.”
