Following the Porto match, Our Technical Director, Ertuğrul Sağlam made these comments regarding the game:

“When you are playing against Porto on their home ground, you have to keep your defense tight while you are attacking up front. If you let them score early, it is difficult to stick to your game plan. We wanted to play attacking football in the latter stages of the game. After that unexpected first goal, we had to change our tactics but somehow could not get organized up front. It was not a good game for us.
I would like to thank our players and fans for their effort. They managed to hang in there until the last minute. It turned out to be a valuable experience for us. We saw what we need to improve on playing against stronger teams.”
