In a post-game press interview our Technical Director Ertuğrul Sağlam made these comments regarding the Beşiktaş’s 1-1 draw against Çaykur Rizespor:

“We were certainly going through a difficult period. After our consecutive wins against GB Oftaşspor and Marseille, we were hoping to win this game but the things didn’t work out as the way we planned. Despite playing well and dominating the entire game we ended up in an unexpected draw. The most important thing we need to improve is our goal scoring ability. And we were faced with same problem in this game again. As a result we dropped 2 points but we want to make for this in our upcoming road game against Bursaspor. We will start getting ready for that game immediately. Lastly, I congratulate Rizespor on their hard work.”
