Following Beşiktaş’s 1-0 away victory over GB Oftaşspor, Our Technical Director Ertuğrul Sağlam said, ‘‘Today the result was more important than our performance on the field. We are pleased to end the game with 3 points.’’

 He then went on to make these comments regarding the game:
‘‘We knew beforehand that it would not be an easy game for us. Today we faced a young team full of gifted players who love to run. They also had the advantage playing together for many years. They are a dangerous side for any team. We were also under the influence some undesirable physiological factors. Despite of all these negative circumstances we still had to play this game and win regardless of our level of performance. We needed a win to boost our team’s moral before our Championship game on Wednesday. We are very pleased with 3 points. 
We know that Beşiktaş fans and community are disappointed by our poor performance and results but every new team may go through a difficult period. Starting from our Champions League   game against Marseilles, we want to make up for our recent losses and make them happy again with much better results.’’
