Following Besiktas Cola Turka’s third consecutive ULEP Cup win our Board Member in charge of Basketball Branch, Mr. Şeref Aydın and Head Coach Ergin Ataman made these comments:

Şeref Yalçın: ‘‘This was the most difficult group game for us and posting an away victory against a strong team on its own home ground, proves how powerful we are right now. We are hoping to get better as the season progresses and qualify for the next stage as a group leader. We intend to use the advantage of finishing first. We will do our best to win our remaining games and bring the ULEP Cup to our country. 
Ergin Ataman: ‘‘This is a very valuable win for us because it was our most difficult away game. We knew beforehand that it was not going to be easy. We took control of the game right from the start but couldn’t find a way through. Getting Kaya Peker and Christian Dalmau into an early foul trouble disrupted our game plans completely. But our bench players Erkan Veyseloglu and Mehmet Yagmur helped us a lot. We also had some difficulty containing their tall players under the boards. In addition to all these, the four  unnecessary technical foul calls of the Greek referee seriously slowed us down. Nevertheless, we are quite pleased to win our most difficult group game.’’
