Our Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Team cruised to a comfortable 91-51 victory over the Bosnia-Herzogovinian side, BC Zeljeznicar in the second group game of FIBA European Cup.
With this victory, Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Team made it two in a row and continued its impressive performance in the FIBA European Cup.Visiting Black and Whites took on BC Zeljeznicar in Bosnia-Herzogovina and dominated the game from start to finish.
Beşiktaş Cola Turka’s hot-shooting Ladies raced out to a 19-10 lead at the end of first quarter and then, thanks to an outstanding teamwork, extended their advantage to 43-24 heading into their locker room at the half-time.
Black and Whites continued to shine in the third period and knocked in a total of 23 points to build an insurmountable 66-37 lead after there quarters of play. Sitting on a comfortable cushion, Beşiktaş Cola Turka outclassed its opponent in the fourth and ran way with a lopsided 91-51 victory to post their second European League win as many games.
Stacey Lovelace-Tolbert finished with a game-high 25 points while Korona Zanze chipped in 18 points. The other ladies who scored for Beşiktaş Cola Turka included; Vanessa Hayden (14), Jelena Spiric (12), Esra Erden( 7), Ayşe Dilek Ünüvar (6) and Nilay Yiğit( 5). Tuğba Gönen and Harika Gözde Eldas also scored 2 points each for the victors.
