Following Beşiktaş Cola Turka’s convincing victory over visiting Köln 99ers our Head Coach Ergin Ataman made following comments regarding the game and Beşiktaş’s future plans:  

‘‘We were pretty effective on the floor tonight and displayed a solid defense. We got off to a sloppy start but we quickly regrouped and found our rhythm. When our opponents lost their defensive momentum, we attacked and forced them into turnovers. We are hoping to complete this group in the first place and play in the final-four. If everything goes according to our plans, there is no reason why we shouldn't get the ULEB Cup title this season. I would like thank all our loyal fans who came out to support us tonight. We need their support until our final Cup game.’’ 
Kaya Peker who finished with 13 points said: ‘‘This was an important game for us. We first wanted to win and then build deficit. We managed to succeed on both fronts. Having a fine start is not good enough today, you must also sustain your high-performance until he last game. If we play good basketball, I think we can achieve our goal. Now we are waiting for our derby game against Efes Pilsen.’’     
Underlining the importance of having back-to-back ULEB Cup wins Sinan Güler added: ‘‘God willing, we want to keep our winning streak going during our future games but our fans should not leave us lone in this difficult race. If they continue to support this team like they did tonight we may get to places nobody has ever dreamed of.’’
