Our Handball Team pulled off a 35- 27 victory over visiting Çankaya Belediyespor at BJK Süleyman Seba Sports Saloon in the 7th week of the League.

During the first 5 minutes of the game, thanks to fast attacks a solid defense, visitors from Capital City raced out to a 4-1 lead and prevented Beşiktaş from scoring any goals. But Beşiktaş eventually tighten its defense and fought back to tie the game at 4-4 three minutes later. From that moment onwards, it was physical affair and teams battled back and forth rest of the way to take the lead. A last second goal by Çankaya Belediyespor sent the teams to their locker rooms in a 15-15 tie at the half-time intermission.

However it was a completely different ball game in the second half as Beşiktaş exerted its dominance over the visitors with an impressive overall performance. Supported by a solid defense, Black and Whites started to hit consecutive goals which gave them a 25-20 advantage at the 45-minute mark. Visiting Çankaya Belediyespor made a last attempt to trim the deficit and get back into the game but Beşiktaş sealed its defense and never looked back. Black and Whites managed to open up an insurmountable 10 goal lead entering into the final 2 minutes of the game. Despite 2 late goals by their opponents, Black and Whites managed to run away with 35-27 victory in the end.
