Our General Manager Sinan Engin said Beşiktaş was getting robbed of points starting from the first match and continued:

‘‘Before the game Fenerbahçe had doubts about the ref’s performance but once the game started the roles have changed quickly and we got butchered by his bad calls.
We played much better and had created more changes but the referee was surely on their side. He should have sent Deivid off in the 70th minute with his second yellow. I don’t want to talk about our last minute goal because the whole nation saw what happened. How he created that foul call from nowhere we will never know.
We are going to come out and play our next regular season game with our youth team. We must show some resistance against all these dirty tactics. If we can’t show any reaction, there is no point of staying in League under these circumstances.
The whole thing is totally unfair.’’
