Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball Team claimed a 78-63 away victory in season opener over host Botaş.

After a fast start, visiting Black and Whites tightened up their defense and held its opponent to only 4 first-quarter points as consecutive baskets by Stacey Lovelace and Tolbert lifted them to a 14-4 lead heading to second.
Botaş came on strong in second and tried to close the gap with Guzman and Givens’s shots but Beşiktaş Cola Turka prevented home team from getting any closer as it carried a 32-22 edge into intermission at half.
 
Nilay Yiğit and Nazlı Güler teamed up to help keep visitors out of reach despite baskets by Pınar and Givens. Beşiktaş Cola Turka extended its lead to 55-39 after three quarters of play.
Hot-shooting Stacey Lovelace and Tolbert continued to pour it on from all over the court in fourth and Black and Whites pulled way from their hosts to end the game with a 78-63 comfortable victory.
